The venue
Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux is one of Strasbourg’s oldest and most iconic buildings. A living witness to sixteen centuries of history, it has endured through the ages, from its origins in the 4th century to the many medieval and modern transformations. Its unique architecture, blending Gothic and Neo-Gothic elements, along with its stained glass, murals, and sculpted details, tells the story of the city’s religious, artistic, and cultural heritage.

Today, Nootoos calls this building home—a welcoming, participatory space that transforms this historic church into a vibrant environment open to everyone. Nootoos enables anyone to propose and share artistic, cultural, social, or spiritual projects, turning the church into a true space of co-creation and collaboration. It is within this unique setting that Nootoos brought Explore Strasbourg to life.
